What past students have said:

Austyn

"I feel more confident in my own body than I have in years. I know what I need to eat and drink and how to listen to the cues my body is giving me. I've struggles for years with disordered eating and body image and was even more confused in my body after cancer diagnosis and treatment. I didn't know what to eat and when. There's information everywhere and it's extremely confusing trying to figure out what is best. I highly recommend the program."

Teena

"I now eat with a purpose... to fuel my body with foods for healing and vibrant health. I've learn so much. It's made me aware of what I put in my body. Good whole foods have given me energy physically. Emotionally, good food has helped sustain me in difficult times. Thank you for this powerful program."

Twilah

"I have learned so much about pairing food, the cancer myths, and serving sizes. I have learned to ask and listen to if I'm hungry or just eating because of something else."

Ffion

"I regained my excitement in cooking, stopped avoiding food, introduced so much more nutrition into my diet, and gained more energy to start working out again."

Cathy

"I feel phenomenal both mentally and physically, and people tell me I look good. I feel more confident. [Tuesday] opened up a world for me knowing what all I can eat."

Tuesday Hoelscher

I have over 10 years of education and experience in the field of nutrition and have been a dietitian for over 5 years. I have spent the majority of my career working with people affected by cancer. I am passionate about helping cancer survivors adopt a plant forward diet to reduce risk of recurrence. My Oncology Nutrition Foundations course teaches you the foods you should be eating to thrive during treatment, manage symptoms, reduce cancer and recurrence risk, and to gain confidence in your food choices so you can eat with less stress and fear.

FAQ

  • How long will I have access to the course?

You’ll have access for the lifetime of the course, for as long as I continue to run Oncology Nutrition Foundations.

  • I'm not great at tech. I'm nervous I won't be able to utilize the platform well enough to receive the value.

Thinkific is a very simple to use platform. I have had students of all ages and technology education levels use the platform with ease. You are also able to email meI questions if you need help utilizing the platform.

  • Is this available anywhere in the world?

Yes! This course is entirely virtual and self-paced.

  • How long is the course and what time should I expect to spend on it?

The course includes ~6 hours of video content, however most students take longer to complete the course if utilizing the roadmap and completing the worksheets and handouts.

  • What is your nutrition philosophy? How will I know your program is a fit for me?

I am western medicine trained. I provide the most up to date science-based information. Although food restrictions are sometimes appropriate, my philosophy is that we do not eliminate based on fear. I believe in liberation so that you can enjoy food again and eat without fear. This course is not for you if you are looking for validation to overly restrict your diet or for a quick fix to "cure" your cancer.
